Lifestyle Balance
We are all good at something, and Yoga allows us to tap into our highest power. Every time we step onto the mat, we have the opportunity to create a new experience – to forge a new beginning.
Some of us are very strong, and favor poses that involve strength and endurance. Some of us are flexible, and look forward to poses that open us up and loosen our muscles. Balancing can be a challenge – frustrating on some days, and then effortless on other days. Sleep, stress, injuries, and emotions all contribute to how we practice our Yoga.
Many different factors can affect our balance. One thing I know is that balancing poses help us get out of our heads. It is very hard to balance if you are planning the rest of your day, or thinking about what you forgot to do before you arrived on your mat.
Strength, flexibility, and balance are all important, but the true power of Yoga begins when we step off of our mats into everyday life. How strong is your inner strength? How flexible are you to change when things don’t go as planned? What about balance? Do you live a balanced life taking care of yourself, and not just everyone else? Are you ready to learn the tools that will help you live your best life on and off the mat?
